Animal Services

The City of Avon provides the following assistance to all residents and is dedicated to helping protect the health, safety and welfare of both people and animals in our community.

Dog license are issued for a one-year period, and all dogs over the age of four months are required to have one.  License can be issued either in person or mail/email the current vaccination paperwork along with updated contact information.  The fee is $5 per dog for a license.  Payment can be dropped off or mailed in.  We also accept credit cards.  Farm animals are not allowed in city limits, this includes poultry, fowl, bees, and goats.
